I was invited to take part in a bridal makeup masterclass at Charlotte Tilbury in Covent Garden, London. Charlotte’s flagship store, the British home for her award-winning makeup brand!

I departed from Farnborough Main train station and headed into Waterloo. It’s super easy to get to – Waterloo -> Leicester Square -> Covent Garden (and, the store is right outside the exit from the tube station, super convenient).

I arrived an hour early, so decided to grab a quick bite to eat around the corner at Starbucks. I wondered around beautiful Covent Garden, into the makeup stores (of course) and admired the street performers to kill a little bit of time.

Super eager to learn, I headed into Charlotte Tilbury.


The Flagship Store

I was warmly welcomed by the staff and was directed downstairs. Firstly, WOW! Charlotte Tilbury really does know how to create something beautiful – the space downstairs for clients and training is just wonderful. As she always says, a magical makeup wonderland!

We had the gorgeous Chloe modelling for the masterclass (Instagram : @chloeannabelle).

I already have a lot of Charlotte Tilbury products in my kit. However, I did add a couple of newbies …

- Under eye colour corrector in the shade ‘fair’
- Lipsticks in the shades ‘Wedding Belles’ and ‘90’s Icon’
( I returned 90’s icon, I hated it… it was FULL of glitter)
-  A top up of Magic Cream

How I did I get tickets for this masterclass?

I am a member of the Kristina Gasperas Academy – we were offered tickets to the masterclass for £25.00 each. Once we had finished the masterclass, we were able to shop with 30% discount (Charlotte Tilbury offers all professional makeup artists 30% discount through the pro discount scheme) and we were given our ticket price back in a voucher to spend at the store! As well as a little goodie bag.
