Bridal Makeup/Wedding Photoshoot - Warbrook House, Eversley

Wedding Makeup at Warbrook House, Eversley

Warbrook House, The Street, Hook, RG27 0PL

Warbrook House is a STUNNING wedding venue in Hampshire. It holds a very special place in my heart because… I got married here! It’s a magnificent Grade I listed mansion set in 121 acres of Grade II listed gardens - it’s currently under going lots of improvements and it’s to be more beautiful than ever!

Let me tell you a little bit about what we got up to ….

I decided to contact some of my like minded, bubbly, wedding suppliers and asked “do you want to get together for a little photoshoot”? Of course, they said yes!

During the quiet month’s for us wedding industry professionals, it’s always fun to get together for a day of content creation. It’s always a great day, lots of laughs and we get to be super creative!

Who came along for the photoshoot?

Lauren Mitchell
- Lauren is a very gifted photographer, super fun and just an all round gem to be around!

Sophie Frank - Sophie is a hair extraordinaire. Sophie and I have worked together a few times, I’ve loved every hair style I’ve seen her create and this photoshoot was no different.

Tilly Mint Bridal Shop - Tilly Mint very kindly let us borrow one of their very many beautiful wedding dresses for the day. They’re based in Fleet, Hampshire and stock some of the most beautiful wedding dresses I’ve ever seen. A lot of my brides have purchased their dresses from Tilly Mint and have expressed how wonderful their bridal experience has been!

Amy Whitman - Amy is a talented florist based in Yateley, Hampshire. She created our beautiful bridal bouquet with lots of spring colours … they smelt divine! Amy has become my ‘go-to’ for all of my floristry needs too (my Nan and Mum have benefited so far and loved their flowers).

Fran Jackson- our beautiful model. Fran is one of my previous clients, she sprung to mind when I was thinking of who could be our model for the day and she didn’t disappoint.

Hello March

Wooooooowie, we got so lucky with the weather! The sun shone all day for us, but don’t let the photos fool you … it was freezing. What us wedding suppliers will do on our days off to put together some gorgeous bridal content is amazing really!

However, there are perks to shooting in March. We had sunshine, daffodils and mini eggs! Yep, I never forget to bring the snacks for everyone.

Good Morning

Sophie and I arrived at Warbrook House at 9:00am. We set up in the lovely ‘Peony Room’, the bridal space for the morning of the wedding. It’s cosy, full of light, benefits from a beautiful view of the grounds and great for bridal parties!

Fran arrived, and…. we got going!

Hair - Sophie decided on gorgeous Hollywood Waves.
Makeup - I decided on subtly bronzed, sun kissed, glowing makeup.

Tilly Mint arrived with a special delivery - the dress and the veil! The wedding dress was by designer ‘Stella York’. And then, Amy with the beautiful bouquet! Amy very kindly gifted the flowers to Fran after we had finished the photoshoot… a pretty little pressie to take home.

Makeup, Done! Hair, Done! Dress, On! Flowers, in Hand! Time to start shooting….

The Grounds

I’m not sure I can put into words how beautiful the grounds are at Warbrook House. Acres upon acres, upon acres! We decided to start taking some photos at the back of the house… the sun was beaming down and Fran looked beautiful. The dress was sparkling, her skin was glowing, her hair was glossy….. what more does a bride want?

We gradually started walking towards the water, looking back at the stunning mansion house. We all soon regretted not bringing a jacket to the photoshoot, it was so cold in the wind! But, my gosh it was so worth it.

Here’s some of the beautiful pictures that Lauren captured, absolutely beautiful :

As the sun started to go back in, we headed back to the house. It was a relief to thaw out our frozen limbs and eat some more mini eggs, ha!

We had such a great day! If I could work with this little group of ladies every day, I would. They are such talents and wonderful people to be around too.

To any brides who are looking for wedding suppliers … I can highly recommend those involved in our bridal photoshoot at Warbrook House.

Here’s a few of my own snaps from the day…. enjoy! :)
